KILL ZOMBIE / KILL DEAD ZOMBIE / ZOMBIE QUEST / ZOMBIBI

 

Zombibi (international name Kill Zombie! / Zombie Quest) is the first Dutch zomedy directed by Martijn Smits and Erwin Van Den Eshof.
It’s an over-the-top visual-effects-heavy splatter comedy. The VFX were split between Lukkien and ShoSho where Lukkien mainly took care of the splatter, gore and guns whereas ShoSho mainly managed the 3D and explosions (except for the one in the trailer, which was my work).
I was the creative & technical supervisor for 196 VFX shots of which I composited 169 myself. Reinier Reynhout and Ron Adriaanse took care of the 3D and some composites. We added tons of blood, gore, flying limbs,muzzle flashes but also vampire bats and frozen meatballs!
